Life membership of the association is granted to a nepalese scientist holding a Masters Degree or equivalent in hydrogeology, groundwater hydrology, or in physics, chemistry, geophysics, geochemistry, environmental science, engineering and hydrology with six month training about groundwater hydrology/ hydrogeology or with dissertation/research work about hydrogeology or anyone who has been involving on hydrogeology profession with two years of experiences or who did PhD on ground water resources and upon payment of life membership fees.
